Remote East Coast
We have a new opening for a Network Automation Engineer for our client within the FinTech space. The client is renowned for their work/life balance and employee appreciation.
You will have expertise in Palo Alto and Juniper (cisco is good too) technologies to come on board and assist in all aspects of the design, implementation, and ongoing ownership of their hosting environments.
Candidates must have a detailed understanding of Routing and Switching. You will have experience working in a fast-paced workplace, a passion for problem-solving and a key interest in exploring new and innovative technology.
Key responsibilities of the Network Automation Engineer:
- Lead the design & implementation of the next-gen network infrastructure
- Implement new technology solutions to improve the overall business and technology need
- Be an SME in the networking team
- Lead by example and ensure that all parties are following the correct policies and procedures
- Assist in the delivery and design of the cloud-based infrastructure
- Understand information security policies and requirements
As a Network Automation Engineer you will have:
- At least 8 years experience working in a Networking role that has multiple collaborations across other IT teams
- Have experience with Linux/Windows/Cloud environment
- Deep expertise in Palo Alto Firewalls
- Industry certification CCNP nice to have CCIE
- Experience designing networks for public cloud solutions
- Scripting experience when it comes to networks - Perl, python, PowerShell
- Dedicated team player who is willing to go beyond his regular working remit
Nice to haves:
- Worked with AWS/Azure cloud
- Certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE, JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE
- Worked with configuration management tools Chef, ansible etc
