We are on the lookout for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the existing 50-person engineering team! This company is based up North, with a little under 500 total employees. The department you would join consists of software, navigation, controls, and electrical engineers.
As the Embedded Engineer, you will utilize your extensive knowledge to collaborate with the other engineers and administrators. Your team will be primarily responsible for spacecraft software including navigation, features and take off/landing. The company is in the aviation and aerospace industry, so having that background is a plus.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field of study
- 4+ years embedded software and/or firmware experience
- Expert in Python/C/C++
- Worked with simulation software or helped in the features of simulation software
- Ability and proven success with working remotely with team members in other locations in the US
- Previous experiences in automotive, aviation, or aerospace is a plus.
