Our client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in IT support, with a strong background in Windows technologies, server management, and cloud services. This role will involve providing high-level technical support, managing complex IT projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Windows desktops, servers, and related applications.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Document procedures, create knowledge base articles, and train junior staff.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in an IT support role.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Proficient in network troubleshooting and administration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
