Senior Embedded Software Engineer

This particular client is opening their search to include remote employees, they have been looking to fill this position for 2 months. They are seeking a senior software engineer to join their department which consists of software, electrical, and systems engineers.

This company is true start-up style, with the employee organization being under 150 people, and most of them being located up North! They work on products such as circuit boards and testing stations and offer services such as hardware and firmware design, as well as taking on products from the prototype stage.

They focus their efforts on space, defence and medical technology space!

The Embedded Requirements:

• +5 years of experience within the defence/aerospace and/or simulation technology
• Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering or related fields.
• Develop quality firmware and software libraries for embedded systems.
• +4 years of software experience with related testing C, Embedded Linux, Matlab and C++.
• Understanding circuit board design and creation.
• Excellent team communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently. (this will be remote so you will have to have proven success)
