Information Technology Officer

I'm hiring an IT Support Officer to join my Dublin-based client on a permanent, full-time basis. This position will involve working within a small IT team, providing network and application support for internal systems and hardware.

Duties:

• Managing hardware and network infrastructure across the business
• Monitoring systems, administering networks and backing up data
• Working alongside external IT providers when necessary
• Working within an MS Windows Server environment, providing desktop and server support
• Reviewing, maintaining and developing IT policies and outlining strategic objectives
• Building new servers and IT environments for applications

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Desktop and Server Support
• Strong experience with Windows Servers
• Demonstratable experience with Active Directory, IT networking, Office 365 and virtualisation technologies such as VMware
• Experience with MS SQL server and image creation (Windows) is highly desirable
• Minimum of 3rd level IT Qualification
