Senior Automation Engineer

Hybrid Model - 2 Days Per Week On-Site

Job Description:

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients' financial systems. You will leverage your expertise in API and UI automation, as well as database testing, to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using RestAssured
• Design and execute UI automation tests using Selenium with Java
• Perform thorough database testing using SQL to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test plans
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
• Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices in automation testing
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies, applying them to enhance testing processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in automation testing, specifically in API, UI, and database testing
• Proficient in API automation using RestAssured
• Strong experience in UI automation using Selenium with Java
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience in database testing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, with 2 days per week on-site in Dublin
