My client, a market leader in the Finance space, is looking for a seasoned Software Engineering Manager with expertise in leading talented and diverse software development teams in fintech environments.
Software Engineering Manager - Key Responsibilities:
You will guide a team of software developers to build and maintain an innovative platform using modern engineering best practices, ensuring alignment with industry regulations, and collaborating with wider leaders within the business.
You will be responsible for the delivery of the entire product from the interface on the front end to the back-end operations, and the management of data in-between. You will have an active involvement in the hands-on development, conduct code review sessions, research emerging technologies to improve the product, and cultivate a high-performing culture through regular feedback sessions with the team.
Software Engineering Manager - Required Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in application development with 3+ years as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of a selected programming language such as Java or Python.
- Knowledge of API Design, Relational Databases, and Caching technologies.
- Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with event-based architecture and AI/MLOps architecture.
- Experience in the Fintech/financial services space.
- Ability to motivate the team, creating a culture of innovation.
