PHP Developer

Reperio is working with an Irish-owned startup based in Co Donegal. We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, experience with modern frameworks, and a passion for coding. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This opportunity is based on a hybrid working model - you will be required to go into the office 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cutting-edge web applications using PHP and related technologies.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend.

Beneficial:

• Experience with front-end technologies such as, React, Angular or Vue
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
