I am recruiting on behalf of my client in the IT industry, who is seeking a Principal Engineer. This role involves leading innovation, and architecture, and setting the technical direction, all while maintaining a hands-on approach with expertise in Java and cloud-based technologies.
Principal Engineer Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement secure, robust, and scalable solutions.
- Conduct hands-on software development.
- Act as a technical leader to a team of engineers.
- Conduct code reviews.
Required Experience:
- 6+ years' experience using the programming language Java with Spring boot.
- Industry experience in architecture, designing and deploying large-scale applications.
- Strong experience working with AWS.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Experience working with Docker, Kafka, and MySQL.
