Automation Engineer Position Overview:

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in my clients' embedded team, focusing on developing and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts. You'll work closely with developers, testers, and product managers to ensure their software meets the highest standards of quality.

If you're a hands-on engineer with expertise in Selenium, Java, Linux, shell scripting, and REST API testing using Rest Assured, then this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Utilize Linux and shell scripting for automation tasks and infrastructure management
Implement REST API testing strategies using Rest Assured
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated test scripts and frameworks
Continuously improve test processes and frameworks, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications:

4+ years experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Selenium with Java
Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting
Experience with REST API testing frameworks, particularly Rest Assured
Ability to work effectively within an embedded team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
