This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in quality assurance and automation, looking to step into a leadership position.

QA Lead Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10+ QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily activities of the QA team, ensuring alignment with project timelines and company goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members.

• Quality Assurance & Testing:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure the highest product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to understand project requirements and create detailed test plans.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of manual and automated test cases, ensuring thorough testing of new and existing features.

• Automation & Technical Expertise:

  • Lead the QA automation efforts, guiding the team in selecting the appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Hands-on involvement in developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation scripts and frameworks, as needed.
  • Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

• Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and improve QA methodologies, tools, and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

• 5+ years' experience as a QA Lead.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
