Automation Test Engineer

Job Description:

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the software of our client meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate both functional and non-functional requirements. Your work will be crucial in delivering reliable and robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Execute and monitor automated tests, analyzing results to identify issues and bottlenecks.
• Perform performance testing to ensure the software meets performance benchmarks.
• Implement and manage test frameworks, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.
• Report and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in test automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on both functional and non-functional testing.
• Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
