Lead Java Engineer

Day Rate Contract (6 months rolling), Hybrid Working

I am currently hiring for a client in the cyber security industry, who is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate for this role will display strong expertise in back-end development and be able to leverage their expertise in working with AWS. The client expects this to be a long-term project with possible extensions to initial contract terms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and testing process in a team of team of 5+ Engineers.
• Act as a point of contact, troubleshooting any issues.

Required Experience:

• 8 + years' experience as a software developer, using Java backend technologies.
• 3+ years' experience leading a team.
• 3+ years' experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience with big data and rational databases.
