Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

This role would be remote on the East Coast

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be joining a small start-up in the MedTech space. The company are currently operating just under 100 people and is in a space of expansion by adding to the Engineering department.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will have good software development skills and a detailed understanding of DevOps. Having good development skills is preferred but can be compensated by a comprehensive knowledge of AWS networking.

The tech stack you should be familiar with: AWS, TypeScript, Docker, Node, and AWS CDK.
You will set yourself apart by having strong AWS CDK experience This is not required but you will need to have solid experience with Infrastructure as code.

To be successful as a Site Reliability Engineer you will:

• Computer Science degree in networking, IT systems or similar work experience
• Strong software development experience ideally 6+ years
• Worked with Cloud Platforms such as AWS in particular CDK
• Experience with IAC such as Terraform
• Worked with Node, TypeScript, React
• Experience in Backup, Storage, and Data Protection
• Strong Linux & Windows capabilities
• Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes
