Back End Senior Software Developer

Day Rate Contract (8 Months+), Hybrid Working

I'm excited to share a fantastic opportunity with a new client in the retail sector, headquartered in the US. They're currently looking to hire a Senior Back-End Software Developer with strong expertise in Java and GCP (Google Cloud Platform). The initial contract is 8 months, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Lead project development, offering technical guidance to the team of developers.
• Collaborate with the technical architect on product planning and scaling strategies.
• Mentor and support the engineering team.
• Actively participate in agile development processes.

Required Experience:

• 5-8 years of back-end development experience with Java, delivering high-quality, efficient code.
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies, with significant exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience mentoring developers and guiding teams.
• Proficient in unit testing, particularly using JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform
