We are seeking an experienced Level 3 IT Support Engineer to join our client's team in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, supporting a diverse technology stack, and mentoring junior engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong problem solving skills and a passion for IT support to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 3 support for complex technical issues across various platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues involving servers, networking, and end-user devices.
- Manage and support Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows Server environments.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve support processes.
- Document solutions and share knowledge with the wider IT team.
- Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 support engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 2 years in a Level 3 support capacity.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Proficient in network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, HyperV).
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or ITIL.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
