QA Automation Engineer Role Overview:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for APIs, databases, web applications, and mobile platforms. Your expertise in tools like RestAssured, Selenium, Cypress, and Appium will be key to driving automation excellence across the organization. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automation within the CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for API testing using RestAssured.
- Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Implement UI automation using Selenium or Cypress to validate web applications.
- Conduct mobile testing automation using Appium for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and develop testing strategies.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with developers to resolve defects.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the overall QA strategy.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on API, UI, and mobile testing.
- Proficiency in using automation tools such as RestAssured, Selenium, Cypress, and Appium.
- Solid understanding of database testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
