Lead Network Architect

My client one of the world's leading communication services companies is looking for an experienced Network Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning design and implementation of the Data Network of one of the leading retail Brands in Europe and one the of the most important enterprise customers for the Business.

About the Job:

• Responsible for the Technical Delivery of Transformational Network Projects on the account.
• Help customers align their Network strategy to their business strategy using a common methodology
• Drive solutions business improvement projects to drive competitive advantage, efficiency, and cost transformation
• Provide internal executive briefings on assurance for complex solutions to management at sign-on, midpoint review and sign-off
• Spend a high proportion of time customer-facing, building executive relationships
• Contribute to training development and roadmap for the team in line with business strategy including specific mentoring of talented individuals.
• Contribute to solutions business improvement projects to drive competitive advantage, efficiency, cost transformation and innovation in the design lifecycle.
• Work very closely with Sales Major Deals Teams in Ireland to provide senior-level Network Architect support to the Deal Architects on major engagements.
• Work with the Head of Technical Services and the Practice Managers to deliver seamless solutions and skills across Design Services Connected to leader behaviour.

Requirements:

• Technical Accreditation, Cisco CCNP R&S or above or equivalent minimum
• Experience in Telecoms would be an advantage
• Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• Expertise in WAN. LAN & WLAN Design for private sector companies with a major presence in Ireland
• Expert on tools and methodologies to create innovative Network Solutions
• Experience working with national and international business units to create hybrid Solutions and services for Customers
• Expertise in Global WAN. LAN & WLAN Design for private sector companies with a major presence in Ireland
