Looking for Engineers with a background in Leading teams specifically in Firmware to join this medical device company. This position has a good split between remaining hands-on with the technical side of things while also being in a position where you will be managing a team of Junior engineers. The key practices for the position will be to ensure quality communication between yourself and the rest of the team to ensure the product timelines are being completed while also overseeing the design of the firmware side of the company. You will be working closely with the Engineering manager and CEO in this position and involved in key product decisions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience working in a firmware Development practice
- A background in either medical devices or an industrial background such as Automotive etc (Anything with regulatory standards)
- A history of either managing a team or in-depth mentoring of colleagues
- C/C++ experience
- Linux OS experience
