Senior Solutions Architect - Dublin

My client, a market leader in the Professional Services space, is looking for a seasoned Senior Solutions Architect with expertise in the financial services and banking space. 

You will leverage your experience in solutions architecture, collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders, and act as a trusted advisor to solutions design/development teams.

You will be working on some of the most innovative fintech-based solutions while supporting globally recognised organisations on some of their most impactful projects to maximise the power of their products. 

Operating at an enterprise level, you will leverage your experience in Business Development and pre-sales to advise clients and play a pivotal role in strategy development.

Senior Solutions Architect - Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in the development and delivery of solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and best practices.
• Design high-level architecture covering sell-side post-trade processing, clearing and settlement systems, including back-office operations.
• Collaborate with wider technical and business teams including Product Managers, Business Analysts and Developers, to align business goals and client requirements.
• Own the end-to-end customer engagement including requirements gathering, scoping, the pre-sales process, and resource allocation.
• Leading Design workshops and mentoring junior architects and developers to promote career development.

Senior Solutions Architect - Required Experience:

• 8+ years' experience in solutions architecture, in a financial services environment.
• Strong experience in the design and build of post-trade processing, clearing and settlement solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in the likes of Murex, Advent Geneva, Infinity, or Kondor+.
• Experience delivering complex, scalable solutions in a financial services setting.
• Strong experience in Cloud, Microservices, and Distributed Applications
• Knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security, Data Management and Regulatory Compliance about the financial services industry.
