IT Field Service Engineer

Our client, a leading service provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team based in Tipperary. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support, maintenance, and repair services to clients across Tipperary, Waterford, and Kilkenny. This role requires daily travel to various client sites and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of equipment at client locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure equipment is operational and safe.
• Install and configure equipment as required.
• Provide technical support and training to clients on-site.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during site visits.
• Collaborate with the internal team to provide feedback and improve service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily travel schedule.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full clean driving license.
• Flexibility to travel daily to client sites in Tipperary, Waterford, and Kilkenny.
