We are looking for an Account Executive to work remotely for a software company that provides innovative financial software solutions designed to streamline financial management, enhance reporting accuracy, and drive business growth. The company helps with the management of tax filing/paperwork, accounting needs, forecasting/reporting for budgeting of a company, and more. They pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to financial professionals and organizations globally.

Account Executive Role Overview:

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You will work closely with potential clients to understand their financial software needs, demonstrate how the company's solutions meet those needs, and guide them through the sales process. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to building relationships and delivering value to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their financial software needs and pain points. Present and demonstrate the company's solutions tailored to address those needs.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to closing. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor and maintain a deep understanding of client's business and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and address any client-specific requirements or concerns.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing and contract terms, ensuring a win-win outcome for both the client and the company. Close sales and meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position the company's solutions and adapt sales strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in the CRM system. Provide regular reports and updates to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience in the financial software or technology industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • 2+ years of full sales cycle closing experience. 
  • Strong understanding of financial software solutions and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools: Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Hubspot, and others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.

Compensation: 

  • 75,000K to 95,000K base with a 50/50 split. 150,000K to 190,000OTE
