A client of ours is hiring a skilled Level 2 IT Support Engineer to join their team. The role is focused on supporting a Windows/Microsoft environment, making it an ideal opportunity for someone with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and a passion for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for Windows-based environments, including desktops, servers, and networks.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers and workstations.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory.
- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring security and stability.
- Participate in ongoing IT projects, contributing technical expertise and support as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Windows/Microsoft environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Azure services, including Azure AD, Azure Backup, and virtual machines.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or similar.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
- Additional certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ are a plus.
