QA Automation Engineer

We have partnered with a large software company based in Leitrim, to assist them in their recruitment of an experienced QA Automation Engineer for a 12-month daily rate contract.

In this role, the new QA Automation Engineer will carry out testing on their new product as well as support a team of experienced testers.

This role offers a daily rate of €475 per day as well as hybrid working (1 day per week required on site) and the opportunity to work on an exciting new project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an experienced team to review and implement new testing methodologies throughout the project
• Train, monitor and review the performance of the team to ensure they meet the project objectives
• Prepare, deliver and record test cases based on the functional and non-functional requirements
• Track, manage and record any issues that arise during the testing lifecycle and deliver to the management team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of Automation testing experience
• Senior tester experience would be desirable
• Functional and nonfunctional testing experience
• Excellent programming skills in t least two languages e.g javascript and python
• Knowledge of web technologies e.g. HTML, CSS etc
• Strong API testing skills
• Framework development and maintenance
