ServiceNow Architect

Hybrid 3 days per week (DMV)

About the ServiceNow Architect Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Architect with a strong background in CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis with the potential to be brought on full-time.

As the ServiceNow Architect, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and delivery of complex ServiceNow solutions, particularly focusing on CMDB and ITOM functionalities. You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to align solutions with business goals, acting as the head of all platform customizations and integrations. This is a hybrid position based in the DMV area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ServiceNow Implementations: Oversee the end-to-end architecture, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow solutions, particularly in the areas of CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM.
• Platform Customization: Drive the development of custom workflows, applications, and integrations that align with business requirements.
• CMDB & ITOM Expertise: Lead the design and implementation of CMDB and ITOM solutions, ensuring data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Best Practices: Ensure that all platform configurations adhere to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Mentorship: Provide leadership and guidance to developers and other technical staff on platform customization and development.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 6+ years of experience working on the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM
• Certifications: ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or any ITOM-related certifications are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in ServiceNow configuration and customization, including JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and automation workflows.
