Reperio is working with an impressive startup in the pharmaceutical industry here in Ireland who are seeking a Lead Data Engineer. The successful candidate will spearhead their data engineering efforts, designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data is available, reliable, and actionable. This role combines technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and mentorship, requiring deep experience in modern data technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in data engineering, 3+ in leadership roles.
• Extensive expertise in AWS cloud stack platforms
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Proven ability to lead data engineering teams.
• Nice-to-Haves: Experience with machine learning pipelines and DevOps.
