Principal DevOps Engineer

Remote - UK/ Ireland

We are looking for an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to spearhead the development of our client's DevOps culture, primarily focusing on automating CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments. In this leadership role, you will design scalable solutions, mentor teams, and drive innovation to enhance software delivery and system operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide teams in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Design and implement secure, automated, and scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote automation and best DevOps practices.
• Maintain continuous integration and delivery processes with a focus on security and compliance.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud computing
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency in Docker, scripting (Python, JavaScript), and cloud security practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with an emphasis on automation and efficiency.
