IT Support Engineer

A client of mine is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer with 5 years of experience to join their team in Dublin. This hybrid role will involve providing Level 2 and 3 support across networking, cloud, and security environments, along with hands-on work with various technologies like Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2/3 support for Windows and Linux environments, including user account management and permissions in Active Directory.
• Manage and troubleshoot issues in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Ensure network security and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
• Collaborate with teams on cloud migration projects and security audits.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to process improvements.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in IT support with expertise in networking, cloud, and security.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure services.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Linux administration.
• Experience in managing network security and VPN solutions.
