We are working with a fast-growing telecoms company that is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join its IT team. As a DBA, you'll be the architect behind their data, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. From designing robust database systems to fine-tuning queries, your expertise will drive their data-driven strategies. The role will also involve managing database security, controlling user access, implementing encryption techniques, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA managing large-scale databases in a production environment.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database versions (12c, 19c).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Dataguard, and RMAN.
- Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL tuning, and troubleshooting complex queries.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Oracle Cloud, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficient in Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of database security, including encryption and access controls.
