Software Test Engineer

Dublin - Hybrid

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be operating the best software engineering principles and industry standards. You will lead the automated testing effort to guarantee the quality of our client's state-of-the-art platform, while working with stakeholders, architects, product managers, and software engineers.

Responsibilities include;

• Research any new technologies including any hands-on technical evaluation and proof of concepts
• Collaborate with other software engineers and product managers and be able to solve any problems that come your way
• Come up with and take part in documentation with the highest of quality and relay said documentation with the rest of the team
• Triage system issues like debugging, logging and documenting bugs that are found during tests
• Proficient in regression testing and agile frameworks
• Knowledge of Java, Python or C#
• Execute test cases, look over the results and report/document all defects and detected issues

Experience and skills include:

• 3+ years' experience working with Java Test and Automation frameworks like JUnit and Cucumber
• Experience working Functional UI Testing frameworks like Selenium and Cypress
• Experience with test-case management tools like TestRail, Xray and Zephyr
• Be able to use issue-tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla
