We are looking for an Account Executive to join a growing cybersecurity company. This position will be dedicated to driving the business forward by hunting net new logos within Fortune 500 companies.

Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 base with 75,000 to 95,000 in commission = OTE $150,000 - $190,000

About the Company:

This cybersecurity company specializes in privileged access management (PAM) and identity access management software (IAM). They are looking for a new Account Executive to take on net new logos, alongside a team of established Account Executives. Based on your location - you would be assigned a territory that you'd exclusively attack. With support from Business Development Reps, Sales Engineers, and Marketing, this position is set up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and revenue by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security needs and providing tailored solutions from the company's suite of cybersecurity offerings
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat landscapes, and technologies, to effectively communicate the company's value proposition to potential clients
  • Work closely with the marketing, pre-sales engineering, and product teams to deliver a seamless experience for clients
  • Proactively manage the sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and deal closure
  • Track and report on sales activities and outcomes, using CRM tools to provide accurate forecasts

Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of B2B software sales experience, ideally in the cybersecurity industry or similar e.g. data management, compliance/security, or authentication software
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator etc.
  • Success in meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies, threat intelligence, cloud security, network security, or related fields is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field is preferred
