Our client is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager with an immediate start for a dynamic technology-driven organisation. This position is suited for a motivated individual with a strong background in managing technical projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Agile Development Oversight: Ensure Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum) are implemented effectively and best practices are followed.
- Manage Multiple Projects: Oversee technical delivery projects, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and consistency with Agile processes.
- Backlog Management: Collaborate with Agile teams to prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Project Monitoring and Risk Management: Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies for successful outcomes.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within teams, continually improving delivery processes.
- Mentorship and Technical Support: Guide technical problem-solving and mentor team members to support their professional growth.
- Data-Driven Project Insights: Utilise metrics and data to monitor performance and derive actionable insights for future project improvements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or in a similar role with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum. Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and communicate effectively across teams.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on motivating and inspiring teams toward successful project delivery.
- Problem Solving & Risk Management: Advanced problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in managing stakeholder engagement.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities with a talent for managing multiple priorities concurrently.
- Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Client and Cross-functional Experience: Experience working with cross-functional teams and client engagement is highly advantageous.
