Our client is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to join their team in Dublin. This role involves delivering Level 2 and 3 support, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing network and cloud-based services in an onsite environment. You'll be responsible for supporting business-critical IT systems and working closely with internal teams to enhance IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for Windows environments, including managing Active Directory and Office 365
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating to relevant teams when needed
- Configure and maintain cloud-based services, particularly Azure
- Support and maintain networking and security infrastructure, including firewalls and VPNs
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures and solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows and Microsoft environments
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Experience with Azure, including user and service management
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for task automation
- Previous experience with network security, including firewalls and VPNs
