As a Programme Manager in Business Transformation, you'll work on complex projects for major financial services clients, shaping the future of the industry through high-quality delivery and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic programmes for financial services clients, focusing on Business, IT, and Regulatory transformations
- Oversee end-to-end delivery within defined scope, quality, budget, and timeline, ensuring compliance with management standards
- Provide direction to the PMO team and support workstream leads and project managers
- Present updates to stakeholders and manage programme costs, forecasts, and resources
- Support business development through proposals, thought leadership, and client events
- Lead client engagements, providing solutions for complex problems and delivering high-quality outputs for C-suite stakeholders
- Take significant project-impacting decisions and escalate issues as needed, ensuring adherence to project governance
- Tackle complex problems, articulate solutions clearly, and manage project deliverables within the established methodology
- Work with cross-functional teams, external bodies, and stakeholders to drive integrated solutions
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools; experienced in financial modelling and business case development
- Familiar with project management tools like Clarity
- Skilled in Project Management approaches (e.g., PRINCE II, Agile) and proficient in solving complex issues within your technical domain
Qualifications
- 10+ years in senior consulting roles
- Previous experience working in large consultancy firm is essential
- Strong financial acumen, including business case development and financial governance
- Primary degree, with additional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) preferred
- Experience leading teams in matrix-managed environments and driving large-scale business transformation
- Familiarity with one or more sectors: Banking, FMCG, Technology, Health
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Digital Transformation, Agile Delivery, Business Design, or Regulatory Change
- Prior management consulting experience is beneficial
