Our client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This role will focus on providing advanced Level 2 and Level 3 support across a variety of Windows and Microsoft 365 technologies, as well as assisting with complex technical projects and system improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Windows environments, including advanced troubleshooting and system management in Active Directory and Office 365
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, working closely with internal teams on escalated cases
- Assist with the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Microsoft 365, Azure, and other cloud-based services
- Lead and participate in IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and software deployments
- Document technical solutions, maintain knowledge bases, and provide training for junior staff
- Collaborate with other IT teams to identify opportunities for improvements and automation
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in IT support, with strong expertise in Windows and Microsoft environments
- Advanced proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and PowerShell scripting
- Experience working with network security technologies and troubleshooting complex network issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead technical discussions
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable
