Senior Java Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a multi-year government project. This role focuses on designing and delivering high-quality Java-based solutions within a modern microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Java applications within a microservices architecture.
• Work with Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) to enhance service communication and observability.
• Implement containerized solutions using Docker.
• Develop and optimize the data layer with technologies such as Hibernate and JPA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration across services and components.
• Contribute to solution design and system architecture decisions.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java development within microservices environments.
• Hands-on experience with Service Mesh (e.g., Istio) - essential.
• Expertise in containerization tools such as Docker.
• Solid experience with Hibernate, JPA, and data layer implementations.
• Exposure to front-end technologies is a plus.
• Experience delivering scalable, high-performance applications in an Agile environment.
