Oracle/SQL Server DBA

We are working with a small but fast growing software company who are looking to add an Oracle/SQL Server DBA to their ranks. This is ahead of an anticipated busy 2025 with further expansions plans to be put in place. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, and monitoring Oracle and SQL Server databases in production and development environments. You'll work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure high availability, efficient performance, and proactive database management across platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years experience in database administration, including both Oracle and SQL Server
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases, including SQL tuning and optimization
• Proficiency in SQL Server clustering, mirroring, and Always On Availability Groups
• Proficient in database monitoring tools such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio, or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database automation scripting
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS, GCP)
