Senior IT Support Specialist

Cork - Hybrid

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their team in Cork. This role focuses on delivering exceptional Level 2 and Level 3 support while contributing to system optimization and key IT initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support across Windows environments, including troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Office 365 applications and services
• Support IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades and software deployments
• Monitor and maintain network performance, assisting with firewall and VPN configurations
• Document technical procedures and resolutions for knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth IT operations

Requirements:

• 8+ years experience in IT support, with a focus on both Level 2 and Level 3 tasks
• Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
• Experience working with cloud services like Azure is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable
