L3 IT Support Specialist

Our client is looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join their Cork-based team. This role involves providing comprehensive Level 2 and Level 3 support, ensuring seamless IT operations, and contributing to system enhancements and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for Windows and Microsoft 365 platforms
• Manage Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies
• Diagnose and resolve advanced hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including upgrades and deployments
• Implement and maintain IT security protocols, including firewall and VPN management
• Document and resolve technical incidents, maintaining accurate logs
• Provide end-user training and support as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in IT support, including Level 2 and Level 3 roles
• Expertise in Windows environments, Active Directory, and Office 365
• Experience with networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure is a plus
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are highly desirable
