Our client, a consultancy based in Galway, is currently looking for a Senior React Engineer to join their team for an upcoming project working with a financial institution. The initial contract is set to be 6 months, but there is a strong expectation for multiple extensions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable, maintainable frontend solutions, ensuring performance and reliability
- Collaborate across teams to design and implement user-focused features
- Develop micro-frontends and enhance developer experience
- Ensure robust testing strategies and maintain clean, reusable code
- Act as a senior member of the team, mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in frontend development
Key Requirements
- 5+ years in frontend development, with expertise in React, TypeScript, CSS, and CRP
- Proficiency in micro-frontends and CSR
- Strong understanding of testing strategies, including the testing pyramid
- Strong importance placed on being an effective communicator
