Our client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the team on an initial 6 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align DevOps efforts with company goals
- Design and maintain scalable, secure AWS infrastructure
- Streamline deployments and drive automation with industry-standard tools
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth code deployments
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven DevOps experience in AWS with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability
- Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
- Experience with containerization technologies (Amazon ECS or EKS)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts with Jenkins or similar tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell) for automation
