Senior Software Engineer

Dublin/Hybrid

My client is looking for a Senior Software Developer with solid experience across Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kafka and MySQL, to join their growing development team in Dublin. If you are an energetic, enthusiastic Senior Developer looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced scale-up environment, this opportunity will be of interest to you.

You will have in-depth knowledge of web technologies, with experience working in a dynamic start-up or scale-up environment previously, with the ability to work at pace, solving in highly technical problems on a daily basis.

 Essential Experience:

• 6-10 years experience in hands-on software development, specialising in Java
• Solid experience using Spring Boot, Kafka, MySQL, Docker, Jenkins, and Git
• Kotlin experience is highly desirable
• Experience in AWS deployment
• Knowledge and understanding of Event-driven Architecture and systems design would be advantageous
• Ability to mentor less experienced members of the wider team
