Senior Data Scientist

Reperio are working with a small, but high-performing software company in Galway who are looking to add to their Data Science team ahead of a busy 2025. The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end data science projects, as well as designing, developing and deploying machine learning models. You will also play a vital role in stakeholder engagement, communicating insights and predictions to key business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree (Ph.D./Master's) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years experience in data science or related roles
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R
• Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Proficiency with SQL and experience working with large-scale databases
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying ML models

Nice to have:

• Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Exposure to deep learning techniques and NLP
