Senior Data Engineer

Reperio are working with a well-established but fast-growing fintech company who are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their ranks. You will design, implement, and maintain reliable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration across multiple sources. This role with also involve collaboration with Data Scientists, Analysts and key stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in data engineering roles, with a focus on building and maintaining large-scale data systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
• Strong experience with AWS cloud services (Athena, s3, Redshift).
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), and data storage systems (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).

Desirable:

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools or frameworks e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
