IT Support Specialist

A client of mine is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join their Dublin-based team. This role involves providing Level 2 support across a variety of Microsoft and Windows platforms, resolving technical issues, and participating in system improvement projects in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Level 2 support for Windows environments, including Active Directory and Office 365.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues, escalating to Level 3 when necessary.
• Configure and support Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint and Teams.
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects, such as system upgrades and migrations.
• Document and maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Provide end-user training and guidance on IT systems and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance IT processes and systems.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in IT support, focusing on Windows and Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and networking basics (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively.
